Uganda Ministry & Video Project September Update

Dear Ministry & Prayer Partners,

- We are now in the final weeks of production ofAn Unconventional War. We are engaged in final editing (cutting down 300+ hours of footage to less than two hours), obtaining permissions from musicians, media companies and individuals to use this footage, obtaining final narration, developing the musical score and doing all the final sound work.  This is a monumental task and our costliest stage.

- We are deeply grateful to God that He has provided over $180,000 toward the cost of this production (thank you to all of you who have so sacrificially contributed).  We are endeavoring now to raise the final necessary funding of approximately $30,000 for completion of this video by the October release date.

- Our last trek to Uganda afforded us a timely and rich opportunity to interview Yoweri Museveni, Uganda’s President, two of the Christian girls who were abducted by the LRA in the notorious raid at St. Mary’s Girls School in Aboke and to meet with World Vision leaders.

- To-date, we have filmed 300+ hours of footage devoted to frontline interviews including but not limited to: Uganda’s President, the Chief Peace Negotiator for the Ugandan government, a Christian minister who escaped LRA captivity and spent 16 years living in the bush, the former number three commander in the LRA and advisor to Joseph Kony, four Christian girls who were abducted from their school and enslaved for LRA purposes, a former notorious sorceress whose conversion has resounded throughout northern Uganda, and United States Senator, Sam Brownback.

Prayer Requests

With each of our earlier documentaries, we have found ourselves in the most earnest of battles at this stage of production – which always includes a human toll. Please pray with us for . . .

*    The final $30,000 to complete the project for release by mid-October
*    God’s favor, clarity and divine direction on the final scripting & editing
*    Physical and spiritual stamina for our staff as we finalize this project
*    Churches to commit to video premieres from November-January and other distribution sources

We are certain that God's intention to speak through this particular story is quite profound, and we are honored to labor over its birth.  The story documented is even more remarkable than we had anticipated. The amazing victory that is being uncovered in this devastated region of a nation where evil has prevailed for the last few decades is a supernatural occurrence.  This has even been verified by the very highest members of Uganda's military on film.

With deep appreciation for your continued support,

The Sentinel Group Team

I want to partner with you to help complete this historic and fascinating story of Transformation & eternal hope that is unfolding in Uganda!
