- We are now in the final weeks of production ofAn Unconventional War. We are engaged in final editing (cutting down 300+ hours of footage to less than two hours), obtaining permissions from musicians, media companies and individuals to use this footage, obtaining final narration, developing the musical score and doing all the final sound work. This is a monumental task and our costliest stage.
- We are deeply grateful to God that He has provided over $180,000 toward the cost of this production (thank you to all of you who have so sacrificially contributed). We are endeavoring now to raise the final necessary funding of approximately $30,000 for completion of this video by the October release date.
- Our last trek to Uganda afforded us a timely and rich opportunity to interview Yoweri Museveni, Uganda’s President, two of the Christian girls who were abducted by the LRA in the notorious raid at St. Mary’s Girls School in Aboke and to meet with World Vision leaders.
- To-date, we have filmed 300+ hours of footage devoted to frontline interviews including but not limited to: Uganda’s President, the Chief Peace Negotiator for the Ugandan government, a Christian minister who escaped LRA captivity and spent 16 years living in the bush, the former number three commander in the LRA and advisor to Joseph Kony, four Christian girls who were abducted from their school and enslaved for LRA purposes, a former notorious sorceress whose conversion has resounded throughout northern Uganda, and United States Senator, Sam Brownback.
