Many of us have not understood that God is dealing with nations
and that every nation has a redemptive role to play and is endowed
with redemptive gifts. God allows certain things to come upon nations
- to shake them, to awaken them, to mold them until they seek after
Him. When they do, and God blesses and heals them, He leads them
into their destinies. Satan also has a strategy for the nations:
either torment and oppression or ease and slumber.
God told Abraham he would make a nation out of him, and through
him would bless all the nations of the world. When Jesus came and
brought personal salvation, He did not do away with the issue of
nations, rather He told his disciples to go and "make disciples
of all nations."
